Who might be able to join this trial:

• People aged between 40 and 75 years old
• People who have been clinically diagnosed with a stroke (either a blocked-artery or bleeding type) that occurred at least 3 months ago
• People who are able to understand and follow spoken instructions, as measured by a standard memory and thinking test (MMSE score of 24 or above)
• People who are in stable health and have been cleared by a doctor to do physical activity

• People with vision problems or inner-ear balance problems that affect their ability to balance
• People with serious bone, joint, or muscle conditions that would make balance and walking exercises unsafe — for example, a recent broken bone or severe arthritis
• People who have been diagnosed with dementia or a degenerative brain or nervous system condition
• People who have taken part in another structured program involving dual-tasking or cognitive training within the past 3 months
