Who might be able to join this trial:
- A stroke diagnosis that has been confirmed by a brain scan or other imaging test
- The stroke happened at least 6 months before joining the study

Who may not be able to join:

- People currently receiving outpatient rehabilitation services such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech therapy
- People with severe difficulties with thinking, memory, or communication that would prevent them from completing screening questions or giving consent
- People who are currently pregnant or planning to become pregnant within the next 8 weeks
- People who have another neurological condition, such as Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, ALS, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Huntington's disease, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, myasthenia gravis, or a brain tumour called glioblastoma
- People currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatment for cancer
- People who were hospitalised or received inpatient treatment for a mental health condition or alcohol or substance use within the past 12 months
- People with a terminal illness or who are currently receiving hospice care
- People with a history of allergic reactions to adhesives that would prevent wearing a small adhesive monitoring device used in the study
- People who use a wheelchair as their main way of getting around outside the home
- People who are unable to speak, read, or understand English
- People already taking part in another rehabilitation research study
- People who live more than 50 miles from the Twin Cities metropolitan area in Minnesota
- People the study investigators determine should not participate for safety or other reasons
