Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are male, or female and no longer able to have children
- You are between 18 and 65 years old
- Your body mass index (BMI) is between 16 and 32, and you weigh more than 50 kilograms (110 pounds)
- For one specific optional group (Part A, Japanese participants only): you weigh more than 45 kg (100 pounds) and all four of your biological grandparents were born in Japan
- For Part E only: you have been formally diagnosed by a doctor with asthma for at least 12 months before joining the study, and your BMI is between 16 and 35 with a weight over 50 kilograms (110 pounds)
Who may not be able to join:
- You have a significant history of serious medical conditions (confirm with trial site)
- You have a history of HIV, hepatitis B, or hepatitis C, or you test positive for any of these
- You have had alcohol abuse, binge drinking, or use of illegal drugs or substances in the past 6 months
- You are currently taking part in, or plan to take part in, another clinical trial involving an experimental drug or vaccine at the same time
- You have had a parasitic infection that needed treatment within the last 28 days
- You have tested positive for tuberculosis
- For Part C only: you have a history of conditions that affect your ability to taste
- For Part D only: you have a history of irregular bowel movements
- For Part E only: you have a lung condition other than asthma
- For Part E only: you have had a worsening of your asthma symptoms within the past 3 months
- For Part F only: you have a history of certain eye, breathing, nerve, or muscle conditions, or have had a bad reaction to certain sedative medications (confirm with trial site)
