Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 40 and 75 years old and have been diagnosed with knee osteoarthritis by a doctor using recognized medical guidelines.
- Your knee osteoarthritis has been rated as moderate in severity based on X-ray results (confirm with trial site).
- You have had ongoing knee pain for more than 6 months.
- Your knee pain rates at 3 or higher out of 10 when you are doing activities that put weight on your knee, such as walking or climbing stairs.
Who may not be able to join:
- You have, or have had, a serious knee infection, a major knee injury, or a type of arthritis caused by inflammation (such as rheumatoid arthritis).
- You have had a broken bone in your knee or knee surgery in the past 6 months.
- You have had any injections into your knee joint (such as steroid, hyaluronic acid, or PRP injections) in the past 6 months.
- You have received physiotherapy or rehabilitation for your knee in the past 6 months.
- You have a bone infection near the knee, a blood infection, or bleeding into the knee joint.
- You have had or currently have cancer affecting your leg.
- You have a known allergy or sensitivity to medical ozone.
- You have severe anaemia, a low platelet count, a bleeding disorder, or you take blood-thinning medication.
- You are pregnant or currently breastfeeding.
- You have an active infection anywhere in your body.
- You have a serious ongoing health condition, such as advanced heart or lung disease, or diabetes that is not well controlled.
- You have an overactive thyroid or a progressive condition affecting your muscles or nerves.
- You have difficulties with memory, thinking, or understanding that would make it hard to follow the study procedures (confirm with trial site).
