Who may be able to join

  • People who have been diagnosed with stage IV non-small cell lung cancer (a type of lung cancer), or lung cancer that has come back and cannot be removed with surgery.
  • People who have not yet received any systemic (whole-body) treatment, such as chemotherapy, for their advanced or spread lung cancer.
  • People who are able to provide a tissue sample from their tumour (either a recent or stored sample taken within 5 months of joining the trial), which the trial site must submit.
  • People who are relatively well and able to carry out daily activities, as measured by a standard medical scale (a score of 0 or 1 on the ECOG scale, meaning fully active or restricted in strenuous activity only).
  • People whose cancer can be measured on scans using standard medical criteria.

Who may not be able to join

Each point below is a reason the trial team may not be able to accept someone. It is not a list of requirements to meet.

  • People whose cancer has a specific known genetic change for which an approved targeted treatment already exists as a first-line option.
  • People who have previously been treated with immunotherapy (treatments that work by stimulating the immune system to fight cancer).
  • People who have cancer that has spread to the brain or spinal cord and has not yet been treated.
  • There may be additional criteria not listed here that the trial site will assess (confirm with trial site).

Important: Always verify eligibility with the trial site directly before applying.
