Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been fully informed about the study and have signed a written consent form before any study procedures begin
- People aged 18 years or older
- People who are in generally good health and able to carry out normal daily activities with little to no limitation (as measured by a standard cancer health scale called ECOG, with a score of 0 or 1)
- People who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer confirmed by tissue or cell testing
- People for whom a PSMA PET scan (a type of imaging scan used in prostate cancer) has been recommended
- People with no significant abnormal results from physical checks, vital signs, blood tests, heart tracings (ECG), or other assessments that could affect safety or scan results
- People who are able to become pregnant or father a child and agree to avoid pregnancy, avoid donating sperm, and use highly effective contraception (such as condoms, oral or injectable contraceptives, or an intrauterine device) for 6 months after receiving the study drug
Who may not be able to join:
- People with other health conditions that could affect their safety or interfere with the imaging results
- People taking other medications that could affect their safety or interfere with the imaging results
- People who have not waited long enough after previous cancer treatments (such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or radiotherapy) before joining the study
- People with a known sensitivity or allergic reaction to radiation, alcohol, the study imaging agent ([⁶⁸Ga]Ga-ELI421), or its ingredients, or people with a history of severe allergic reactions
- People who are unable to complete the PET scan as required by the study
- People whom the study doctor considers unsuitable for the study for any other reason
