- People who have been diagnosed with Binge Eating Disorder based on standard diagnostic guidelines (DSM-5)
- People who are between 18 and 65 years old
- People who speak Danish fluently
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are currently receiving any form of talking therapy or psychotherapy
- People who have used weight loss medications (such as GLP-1 medications like Ozempic or Wegovy) within the past month
- People who are currently experiencing thoughts of suicide or self-harm
- People who have a diagnosis of psychosis or a psychotic disorder
- People who have a diagnosis of mania or bipolar disorder
- People who have a drug misuse disorder
- People who have an alcohol misuse disorder
- People who have a diagnosed severe Cluster B personality disorder (a group of personality disorders that includes conditions such as borderline or antisocial personality disorder) (confirm with trial site)
- People whose dosage of antidepressants, antipsychotics, or stimulant medications has not been stable for at least the past 6 months
