- People who have previously used any glaucoma medications, or who have had glaucoma surgery or laser treatment.
- People whose glaucoma has caused significant damage to their visual field beyond a certain level of severity (confirm with trial site for exact threshold).
- People with serious eye conditions that make reliable vision testing impossible.
- People who have a known reason they cannot take the medications required by the study.
- People whose eye nerve fibre layer measurements (as detected by a special eye scan) fall below a certain thickness threshold (confirm with trial site).
- People whose eye length measures more than 26 millimetres.
- People who only have functional vision in one eye.
- People who are unable to complete reliable visual field tests or eye scanning tests.
- People with certain ongoing health conditions that may affect the eyes or the study results — including diabetes, poorly controlled high blood pressure, cancer, kidney disease, autoimmune conditions, neurological conditions, liver disease, heart or blood vessel disease, or inflammatory conditions affecting the whole body.
- People whose vision problems are mainly caused by something other than glaucoma or cataracts.
- People who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study period.
