Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease confirmed by specific brain imaging (amyloid PET scan) or spinal fluid testing, OR are a healthy control participant, OR have cognitive impairment that is not caused by Alzheimer's disease and has tested negative for amyloid
- People aged between 40 and 90 years old
- People who are able to provide blood samples through two collection methods (a small skin patch device called Tasso and a standard blood draw)
- People who have a caregiver available to assist or provide consent if needed
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a serious ongoing physical health condition that is not well managed or controlled
- People who have had surgery or been hospitalised in the last 3 months
- People who are currently taking part in another clinical trial for a dementia medication within the last 2 months
- People who are pregnant
- People who have previously been treated with the Alzheimer's drugs Donanemab or Lecanemab
