Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have a personal history of lymphoma, a blood cancer called multiple myeloma, or related blood and immune system cancers, or who have family members with these conditions.
- People whose family includes members across multiple generations who have been diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, lymphoid leukemia, multiple myeloma, prostate cancer, pancreatic cancer, or other cancers that may run in families — where a specialist considers this relevant.
- People with lymphoma that is also associated with colon or kidney cancer, who are being enrolled specifically for DNA storage purposes.
- Women who have a history of Hodgkin's disease and received radiation therapy as part of their treatment, or who developed a second cancer after Hodgkin's disease.
- People who have already participated in a related study (protocol 93-102) involving blood or saliva samples for genetic research into family cancers.
- Family members of a person already in the study, including siblings, half-siblings, children, parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles — both those who have had cancer and those who have not.
- Children and teenagers may also be eligible, provided a parent or legal guardian gives consent and the child or teenager also agrees to take part.
