Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18 or older who have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, are suspected of having pancreatic cancer, or have a pre-cancerous growth in the pancreas
- Adults aged 18 or older who have had two or more cancers linked to a condition called hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC), which includes cancers of the colon, uterus, small bowel, liver/bile ducts, pancreas, urinary tract, or stomach (confirm with trial site)
- Adults aged 18 or older with colon cancer and a close family member (parent, sibling, or child) who had an HNPCC-related cancer or colon polyp, where one of those was diagnosed before age 45 and the polyp before age 40 (confirm with trial site)
- Adults aged 18 or older diagnosed with colon or uterine cancer before age 50
- Adults aged 18 or older diagnosed before age 45 with a specific type of colon cancer on the right side of the colon, or with a certain type of colon polyp diagnosed before age 40 (confirm with trial site)
- Adults aged 18 or older with a personal or family history of conditions linked to a higher risk of pancreatic cancer, such as Peutz-Jeghers syndrome, familial pancreatic cancer, inherited breast cancer gene mutations (BRCA-1 or BRCA-2), hereditary pancreatitis, or familial atypical multiple mole melanoma, among others
- Adults aged 18 or older who belong to a family with a known inherited cancer condition
- Adults aged 18 or older who have personally had a gastrointestinal (digestive system) cancer diagnosed before age 45
- Adults aged 18 or older with a personal or family history that suggests a higher risk of pancreatic cancer, including: a personal history of pancreatic cancer or a pre-cancerous pancreatic growth; a family history of two or more people with cancer where at least one had a digestive system cancer; a family member or personal history of digestive system cancer diagnosed before age 50; or a history of more than one cancer diagnosis where at least one involved the digestive system
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are unable to give informed consent to participate in the study
- People under the age of 18
