Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have a known or suspected early-stage or precursor blood cancer condition, including:
- Early-stage myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) at a low or very low risk level, or unexplained low blood cell counts that haven't been fully diagnosed
- Conditions that may lead to multiple myeloma or a related blood disorder, such as MGUS (a condition with abnormal proteins in the blood but no symptoms) or smoldering multiple myeloma
- A condition called monoclonal B cell lymphocytosis (MBL), where there are slightly elevated abnormal white blood cells but no active disease
- Early-stage, slow-growing lymphoma with no symptoms
- Other early blood or bone marrow conditions that don't yet meet the definition of an active blood cancer, or people who have previously received certain types of chemotherapy
- People who are at least 18 years old
- Women and people from minority groups are specifically encouraged to participate, in line with national research guidelines
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have an active or symptomatic blood cancer (meaning the disease is causing symptoms or has progressed beyond an early stage) — though note that people enrolled in other clinical trials for precursor (early-stage) conditions are not excluded from this trial (confirm with trial site)
