Who might be able to join this trial:

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who have medical reasons preventing them from safely having an MRI scan or receiving MRI contrast dye.
  • People in Group 2 whose red blood cell levels (haemoglobin) are too low, specifically at or below a certain threshold.
  • People in Group 2 whose kidneys are not filtering blood well enough, based on a standard kidney function calculation (confirm with trial site).
  • People who have any condition that means they are not expected to live longer than one year.
  • People who have a medically diagnosed fear of enclosed spaces (claustrophobia).
  • People who have received, or are scheduled to receive, another experimental medication within one month before or one month after joining this trial.
  • People whose body weight relative to height (BMI) is below 18.5 or above 32.
  • People in Group 1 who have a medically diagnosed heart condition.
