- Your health insurance or payment plan covers this "Homebound Stem Cell Transplant Program"
- Both you and your caregiver are willing to sign a consent form agreeing to take part
Who may not be able to join:
- You have an active, serious infection (grade 3 or higher) before starting the pre-transplant treatment
- You have an uncontrolled irregular heartbeat
- You have active or uncontrolled lung disease
- Your general health and ability to function is below a certain level, as measured by a standard medical scoring tool (confirm with trial site)
- You have significant other health conditions that score too highly on a specific medical risk scale, unless you have a history of a cancer that was fully removed by surgery (confirm with trial site)
- Your kidneys are not filtering well enough (below a certain level on a standard kidney function test) (confirm with trial site)
- Either you or your caregiver is unable to speak or read English, as the program does not currently have multilingual support or translated materials
- Your housing situation is not considered suitable for receiving this type of care at home
- You do not have adequate caregiver support in place
