Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You have been diagnosed with Crohn's Disease confirmed by a biopsy.
  • You either do or do not have back pain that is related to inflammation (the trial is looking for a mix of both groups).
  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You speak English.

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have a history of psoriasis or another type of inflammatory joint condition.
  • You have taken a biologic medication (a type of specialist drug used to treat immune conditions) in the past six months, unless it was Vedolizumab specifically.
  • You are unable to have an MRI scan for any medical reason.
  • You have had cancer in the last 5 years, unless it was a type of non-melanoma skin cancer and it is in remission.
  • You do not speak English.
  • You are not able to follow the study's required schedule or instructions.
  • You are critically or terminally ill.
  • You are pregnant.
