Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged between 18 and 85 years old
- People who have been diagnosed with cardiac amyloidosis (a condition where abnormal proteins build up in the heart), confirmed by a heart tissue biopsy
- People who have been diagnosed with amyloidosis confirmed by a tissue biopsy from another part of the body, and who also show signs of heart involvement on an echocardiogram (a heart ultrasound)
- People who have had an invasive heart function assessment (a procedure to measure how the heart and blood vessels are working) within 3 months of their primary diagnosis
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose heart is in a state of shock and is unable to pump enough blood to the body
- People whose vital signs (such as blood pressure or heart rate) are too unstable to safely undergo a coronary angiography (a procedure to look at the blood vessels of the heart)
- People who have experienced a major bleeding episode in the last 3 months
- People who are currently experiencing active bleeding
- People who have a condition that affects the blood's ability to clot properly
- People who have severe disease affecting one or more of the heart valves
- People who have not agreed to participate by providing informed consent
