Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You must meet the standard medical criteria for the specific condition being studied in this trial (confirm with trial site).
  • You must have enough thinking and memory ability to take part in the study activities, based on a short cognitive test where you score 10 or higher out of 30.
  • You must have been on a stable dose of any brain or mood-related medications for at least 4 weeks before joining.
  • You must have a trusted person (such as a family member or close friend) who either lives with you or sees or speaks with you at least 4 days a week.
  • You must be able to see and hear well enough to complete the study tests.

Who may not be able to join:

  • You may not be eligible if you have another health condition (besides the main diagnosis) that could affect memory or thinking, or make it harder to assess.
  • You may not be eligible if you have an active health problem that could prevent you from safely taking part in the study.
  • You may not be eligible if you are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You may not be eligible if you have severely reduced kidney function, measured by a specific kidney test score below 30, as this may increase radiation exposure from one of the scans used in the study.
  • You may not be eligible if English is not your first language.
  • You may not be eligible if you have fewer than 12 years of education.
  • You may not be eligible if you have previously taken part in a research study involving a drug that targets amyloid (a protein linked to dementia), unless it can be proven that you only received a placebo (inactive treatment) during that study.
