Who might be able to join this trial:
- People diagnosed with multiple myeloma whose cancer cells test positive for a marker called CD138 or BCMA
- People who have no remaining curative treatment options available, such as stem cell transplants
- People whose multiple myeloma has come back or stopped responding to previous treatment
- People whose myeloma returned after a previous stem cell transplant (either using their own cells or a donor's cells)
- People expected to live for at least 3 more months

- People whose blood oxygen level is above 92%

- People who have not received standard chemotherapy in the past month, or immunotherapy in the past three months, before the treatment infusion

Who may not be able to join:
- Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People with an active infection that is not under control
- People with an active hepatitis B or hepatitis C infection
- People currently taking steroid medications by mouth or injection (note: inhaled steroids, such as those used for asthma, are generally not a reason for exclusion)
- People who have previously received any gene therapy treatment
- People with any other serious uncontrolled medical condition that would prevent safe participation
- People with HIV infection
- People who have had a heart attack or serious irregular heartbeat within the past six months
- People with a primary immune system disorder, such as Severe Combined Immunodeficiency Disease
- People who have an unexplained fever above 38°C
