Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You have been diagnosed with a type of pancreatic tumor (either a pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor or pancreatic ductal carcinoma) that is smaller than 5cm and was confirmed by a specific type of biopsy using a fine needle
  • You are not suitable for surgery for one or more reasons, such as having a higher-than-average risk from anesthesia, having another serious cancer, or being considered unsuitable for surgery by a specialist for any other reason
  • You are a generally healthy person who has chosen not to have surgery

  • You have a blood clotting problem, or your blood does not clot properly based on certain blood test results, or you have a very low platelet count (platelets help your blood clot)
  • You are pregnant
  • You have a mental health condition or cognitive difficulty that makes it hard to fully understand what the study involves and what might happen
  • You are not willing to attend follow-up appointments after the procedure
  • You have liver cirrhosis (serious liver scarring), high blood pressure in the veins around the liver, or swollen veins in the stomach caused by these conditions
