Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 or older who are able to give written consent to participate
- People diagnosed with localised pancreatic cancer where surgery (such as removal of part or all of the pancreas) is possible
- People diagnosed with localised pancreatic cancer that cannot be operated on, who have been referred for further management
- People who have cysts on the pancreas where their medical team has agreed that further investigation procedures (such as fluid sampling using a needle guided by ultrasound) are needed
- People with pancreatic cysts where the medical team has agreed the lesions can be removed by surgery and are suspicious for cancer
- People referred for a procedure to drain fluid collections around the pancreas caused by a severe episode of pancreatitis
- People referred for gallbladder removal due to gallbladder inflammation or gallstones
- People scheduled to have an endoscopy (a camera examination of the digestive tract) to investigate indigestion symptoms
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are unable to provide written consent to participate
- People who have another known cancer, whether currently active or considered fully cleared within the last 5 years
- People with HIV, hepatitis C, or any other known infectious communicable disease
