Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and have received chemotherapy treatment that included a type of drug called a taxane (this applies to both early-stage and advanced/spread breast cancer).
• People who developed nerve pain within 6 months of their chemotherapy.
• People whose nerve pain scores above 4 on a specific pain assessment tool called the DN4 scale, which helps distinguish nerve pain from other types of pain.
• People who are 18 years of age or older, of any gender.
• People who are able to understand and are willing to sign a written consent form.

Who may not be able to join:

• People with end-stage kidney failure who are receiving dialysis.
• People who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant within 6 months.
• People who have a history of nerve damage or nerve pain caused by something other than chemotherapy.
• People who are currently receiving chemotherapy, or who have received chemotherapy in the past 6 months.
• People who have been treated with Botulinum Toxin A (sometimes known as Botox) for any reason in the past 6 months.
• People who have had changes made to their nerve pain medications within the month before joining, or who would need such changes during the trial (confirm with trial site regarding breakthrough pain medications, as exceptions may apply at the treating doctor's discretion).
• People who have had an allergic reaction to the injection used in this trial (confirm with trial site).
• People who have weakness or wasting of muscles in the hands or feet.
• People who have an active infection at the site where injections would be given.
