Who may be able to join
- People aged 18 years or older
- People whose thoracic (chest) surgeon has determined that a type of minimally invasive lung surgery called iVATS is appropriate for them
- People who have a spot, shadow, or abnormal area in the lung that can be measured, where the longest measurement is 20mm (2cm) or smaller
- People whose lung abnormality is located in the outer half of the lung or lung section
- People who are being seen at the Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) and/or Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) Thoracic Surgery outpatient clinics
Who may not be able to join
