- People who are scheduled for surgery aimed at curing colorectal cancer, including advanced colon cancer (called cT4), rectal cancer that has grown into or through the bowel wall (cT3 or cT4), colorectal cancer that has come back, or colorectal cancer that has spread to the lining of the abdomen.
- Women who cannot become pregnant — including those who have had their tubes tied, had their uterus or ovaries removed, or have gone through menopause — are eligible. - People who have tested positive for HIV, hepatitis B, or hepatitis C, or who have a serious untreated infection.
