Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who are over 18 years old
• People who are affiliated with the French social security system
• People who are willing to take part in the study

Who may not be able to join:

• People who have received certain eye or immune-related treatments (specifically anti-VEGF therapy, corticosteroids, or immunosuppressive agents) in the past 3 months or are currently receiving them
• People who have previously had surgery on the back of the eye, an eye tumour, a serious eye injury, a severe infection or inflammation inside or around the eye, or radiation to the eye area
• People who have had a serious allergic reaction to the fluorescein dye used in eye imaging tests
• People who have ever received anti-VEGF treatment given through the whole body (for example, by injection into a vein), rather than directly into the eye
• People who have a history of an inflammatory or autoimmune disease (a condition where the body's immune system attacks itself)
• People who have had an active infection or inflammation outside the eye in the 4 weeks before surgery
• People whose blood test during surgery shows a C-reactive protein (CRP) level above 10 mg/mL — this is a marker of inflammation measured at the time of the procedure (confirm with trial site)
