  • People whose overall fitness for surgery is rated at a high-risk level (ASA score of 4 or above) by an anaesthetics assessment (confirm with trial site)
  • People who have had another type of cancer in the past
  • People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • People living with serious mental health conditions
  • People who have already received pre-surgery treatments such as chemotherapy or radiation therapy for this cancer
  • People whose cancer has grown into nearby blood vessels and where the surgical team has determined those blood vessels would also need to be removed
  • People with a Body Mass Index (BMI) above 35 (a measure of body weight relative to height)
  • People who are currently participating in, or have participated in, another clinical trial within the past 3 months
