Who might be able to join this trial:

• You must be a Veteran who receives care at Hines VA Hospital or Jesse Brown VA Medical Center
• You must have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease or a related movement disorder by a neurologist
• You must have been found to have mild cognitive impairment (some memory or thinking difficulties, but not dementia)
• You must be on a stable medication routine, meaning no recent changes to your medications or doses, and no changes are expected during the study
• You must be able to speak and read English
• You must be 50 years of age or older

Who may not be able to join:

• People who have been diagnosed with dementia
• People who are not able to make their own decisions about taking part in the study
• People who have had deep brain stimulation surgery
• People with severe depression
• People who have a strong resting head tremor (shaking of the head while still)
• People whose involuntary movements (such as writhing or jerking) would interfere with brain imaging
• People who have congestive heart failure
• People who have an implanted heart pacemaker or defibrillator
• People who have a cochlear implant, nerve stimulator, or metal clips inside the skull
• People who have an implanted medical pump of any kind
• People with increased pressure inside the skull (confirm with trial site)
• People who have a history of claustrophobia (fear of enclosed spaces)
• People who have metal in their eyes or face, or shrapnel or bullet fragments in the brain
• People who may be at higher risk of having a seizure, including those with a personal or family history of seizures or epilepsy, a history of stroke or head injury, or other neurological conditions that may affect seizure risk
• People taking certain medications such as tricyclic antidepressants, antipsychotic medications, or any other drug known to increase the risk of seizures
• People with other health conditions that may significantly affect the body's chemical balance or increase seizure risk
• People for whom a specific brain stimulation dose cannot be accurately measured or determined (confirm with trial site)
