Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have fluid-filled sacs (cysts) in the pancreas that meet specific concern levels known as "Fukuoka worrisome" or "Fukuoka high-risk" criteria (confirm with trial site for what this means in your case)
- People who are suspected to have a type of cyst in the pancreas that may be a growth or tumour
- People who are able to sign a written consent form agreeing to take part
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are pregnant or currently breastfeeding
- People who are currently incarcerated
- People whose scans or imaging suggest they may already have pancreatic cancer
- People who have a previous history of pancreatic cancer or have had surgery on their pancreas
- People who have received chemotherapy (cancer-treating medication given throughout the body) or radiation therapy to the abdomen in the last 5 years
- People who have previously received any treatment directed at a pancreatic cyst
- People who have a history of pancreatic necrosis (serious damage or death of pancreatic tissue)
- People who have been diagnosed with any cancer — other than a common type of non-serious skin cancer (non-melanoma skin cancer) — within the last 5 years
