Who might be able to join this trial:
- A diagnosis of carpal tunnel syndrome, confirmed either through a physical examination or a nerve conduction test (EMG).
- Adults aged 18 or older.
Who may not be able to join:
- People with a known allergy to the local anaesthetic bupivacaine.
- People who have used opioid pain medications in the six months before the trial.
- People with a known allergy to Percocet (oxycodone/acetaminophen) or acetaminophen (paracetamol).
- People who are currently taking a type of antidepressant known as tricyclic antidepressants, as these can interact with bupivacaine.
- People who are pregnant.
- People who are currently imprisoned.
