Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have had a lung transplant (single lung, double lung, or a repeat transplant) and whose lung function has been stable across their last two medical visits
- People who had signs of acid reflux, abnormal swallowing test results, or stomach acid problems identified before their transplant
- People who are willing and able to give their written agreement to take part in the study
- People who understand what the study involves and are able to attend follow-up appointments as required
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are currently taking part in another clinical trial involving an investigational device or drug
- People who are currently using a CPAP machine to treat sleep apnea
- People who have previously had surgery or radiation treatment to the head or neck
- People who have been diagnosed with carotid artery disease (a condition affecting blood vessels in the neck), thyroid disease, or a history of stroke or related blood vessel problems in the brain
- People who have been diagnosed with cancer of the nasopharynx (the area at the back of the nose and throat)
- People where esophageal cancer (cancer of the food pipe) is suspected
