Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who have been diagnosed with pancreatic adenocarcinoma (a specific type of pancreatic cancer) confirmed by a biopsy
  • People whose cancer was not able to be removed by surgery at the time of diagnosis, either because it has spread to nearby areas or to other parts of the body
  • People whose pancreatic cancer has come back after a previous surgery called a Whipple procedure (a major operation to remove part of the pancreas)
  • People whose cancer can be seen and measured on imaging scans such as a CT or MRI
  • People who are reasonably well and able to carry out daily activities, based on a standard medical scoring system called the ECOG scale (score of 2 or less — confirm with trial site if unsure what this means for your situation)
  • People who are willing to share information and provide biological samples as required by the trial
  • People who are willing to give written, signed consent to take part

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who have already received anti-cancer treatment for their metastatic (spread) pancreatic cancer
  • People who are currently receiving treatment for another type of cancer at the same time, except for hormone therapy used to manage stable or controlled prostate cancer
  • People who have another active cancer, with some exceptions — certain low-risk or well-treated cancers may still be acceptable, such as early-stage skin cancers, cervical carcinoma in situ, superficial bladder cancer, certain prostate cancers meeting specific conditions, other Stage 1 or 2 cancers currently in complete remission, or any cancer that has been in complete remission for more than 5 years (confirm with trial site for details on these exceptions)
