Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18 years or older
- People with a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 30 or higher (a measure of body weight relative to height that indicates obesity)

- People who have a hiatal hernia larger than 3 cm (a hiatal hernia is when part of the stomach pushes up through the diaphragm into the chest)
- People who have previously had surgery on their food pipe or stomach
