Who might be able to join this trial:

Healthy Volunteers (a small group of 5 people):

  • You are 19 years of age or older
  • You do not have any known major health conditions, including cancer, heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, stroke, breathing problems, or arthritis
  • People of all racial and ethnic backgrounds and genders are welcome to apply

Pancreatic Cancer Patients:

  • You are 19 years of age or older
  • You have been diagnosed with locally advanced pancreatic cancer that has been confirmed by a biopsy (a tissue sample test)
  • People of all racial and ethnic backgrounds and genders are welcome to apply

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have any known major health problems (applies to healthy volunteers)
  • You have any condition or implant that makes it unsafe for you to have an MRI scan (confirm with trial site)
  • You are currently on kidney dialysis or are experiencing sudden kidney failure, due to risk of a serious skin and organ condition from the MRI contrast dye used
  • You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You are able to father a child but are not willing to use birth control during and for 6 months after the study
  • You are able to become pregnant but have not been using effective birth control before starting the study, unless pregnancy is not possible due to surgery or another medical reason
  • You are not willing to continue using effective birth control (such as pills, patch, IUD, condom, diaphragm with spermicide, or abstinence) for 6 months after completing the study
