Who might be able to join this trial:
For children:
- Children who are between 5 and 12 years old
- Children who show elevated anxiety symptoms, based on a standardised anxiety questionnaire score of 15 or higher (reported by a parent and/or child), or a clinical rating of 3 or higher on any anxiety diagnosis during a structured interview
- Children who are fluent in English, so they are able to complete consent forms and study materials
- Children already taking medication or receiving psychological treatment may be eligible, as long as the dose or treatment has been stable for at least 4 weeks and no changes are planned during the 8-week intervention period
For school nurses:
- Participants who are a Registered Nurse (RN) or a similar qualified medical professional
- Participants who work in the role of a school nurse
- Participants who are fluent in English
Who may not be able to join:
- Children who do not meet all of the inclusion criteria listed above
