Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease
- People whose Parkinson's disease falls within a mid-range of severity, known as Hoehn and Yahr stages II–III (confirm with trial site)
- People between the ages of 45 and 75
- People who are physically able to ride a stationary upright bicycle
- People who are able to give their written consent to participate
Who may not be able to join:
- People with a recent history of serious heart disease, serious lung disease, uncontrolled diabetes, a traumatic brain injury, or a neurological condition other than Parkinson's disease
- People who are unable to follow instructions or provide written consent
- People who do not have sufficient vision or hearing to see or hear a television
- People with an unstable medical condition or a musculoskeletal problem — such as severe arthritis, or a recent knee or hip surgery — that would affect the ability to ride a stationary bicycle
- People with any other medical condition that prevents bicycle riding
- People with moderate depression
