Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have a medical reason to have a colonoscopy
- At least one polyp (a small growth) between 10 and 15 mm was found in your colon during a colonoscopy
- You have read and signed a consent form agreeing to take part
Who may not be able to join:
- You have been assessed by an anaesthetist as being in very poor general health (known as ASA class IV or above — confirm with trial site)
- You have a severe, active flare-up of inflammatory bowel disease (such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis)
- You need a colonoscopy urgently or as an emergency
- You have a condition that affects your blood's ability to clot properly
- You are currently taking two different blood-thinning or anti-clotting medications at the same time (known as dual antiplatelet therapy)
- You are currently taking blood-thinning medication (anticoagulants), such as warfarin or similar drugs
