Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are already participating in the PACAP cohort study and have previously given written consent to be included in future randomised studies
- People whose pancreatic cancer has come back only in the area where it was originally removed (called a local recurrence), with no spread to other parts of the body
- People who are at least 18 years old
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose cancer has spread to other parts of the body (distant metastases)
- People whose expected survival is less than 3 months
- People who are unable to have an MRI or CT scan, based on the rules of the radiology department at the trial site
- People whose cancer has returned only in the local area, can be surgically removed again, and in the opinion of the expert panel does not need chemotherapy or other targeted treatments before surgery (confirm with trial site)
