Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are pregnant and between 12 and 26 weeks along at the time of their first visit
- People who identify as a minority (such as Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, or Native American, among others), and/or have a household income that would qualify for WIC (Women, Infants & Children) benefits in Virginia, and/or have a high school education or less
- People who are 18 years of age or older
- People who are currently experiencing depressive symptoms, as shown by a score of 7 or higher on a standard depression screening tool called the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS)
- People who can read, write, and understand English
- People who have not been told by a healthcare provider to avoid physical activity
- People who have not done yoga regularly (once a week or more) at any point during their current pregnancy
Who may not be able to join:
- People who do not meet all of the inclusion criteria listed above
