Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18 or older who are taking a type of blood-thinning medication called a direct oral anticoagulant (DOAC) and are scheduled for a planned heart artery imaging procedure (coronary angiogram) or a procedure to open blocked heart arteries (such as a stent placement)
- People who have read and signed a consent form agreeing to take part
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are being treated for an emergency or urgent heart attack condition
- People under 18 years of age
- People whose kidneys are not filtering blood well enough (based on a specific kidney function calculation) (confirm with trial site)
- People who are already taking part in another clinical trial
- People who have had a major surgery in the 30 days before the procedure

- People who have a long-term bleeding disorder
- People who have a known brain tumour, abnormal blood vessel formation in the brain, or a brain aneurysm

- People who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- People with significant liver disease, such as hepatitis or cirrhosis, or abnormal liver enzyme levels detected on blood tests
