Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 60 or older who have been diagnosed with a serious illness such as kidney failure, cancer, heart failure, lung disease, or liver disease — or people aged 21 or older who are the main unpaid carer for someone with one of these conditions
- People who are experiencing a notable level of anxiety, as measured by a standard screening tool called the HADS-A (a score above 8 is required — confirm with trial site)

Who may not be able to join:
- People who have taken part in mindfulness-based therapy or programs within the last 2 years
- People who are not fluent in English
- People whose vision or hearing makes it difficult to use a mobile device
- People whose score on the Blessed cognitive assessment is 6 or higher, indicating a higher level of memory or thinking difficulties
