Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have Type 1 diabetes, meaning they have high blood sugar and have been on long-term insulin treatment started within 6 months of their symptoms beginning, and/or have at least one specific diabetes-related antibody detected in their blood
- People who have another form of diabetes (such as Type 2 diabetes, family-related diabetes, or diabetes caused by medication or other treatments) and/or another condition where the immune system affects hormone-producing glands

- People who are already scheduled to have lymph nodes removed from around the pancreas as part of a planned abdominal surgery for an existing medical condition
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are currently pregnant
- People who have a known HIV or Hepatitis C (HCV) infection
- People who do not have French social security coverage
- People who are under a court-ordered legal protection arrangement
- People who have not signed the study consent form
