- People who have been diagnosed with idiopathic (naturally occurring) Parkinson's disease according to a standard set of UK diagnostic guidelines called the UK Parkinson's Disease Brain Bank Criteria.

- People who experience severe freezing episodes (where movement suddenly stops) or severe tremors (uncontrollable shaking).
