Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are 18 years of age or older.
- People who have been diagnosed with a pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor (a specific type of pancreatic tumor) confirmed by a tissue sample taken during an internal ultrasound procedure, and whose tumor is classified as a lower-grade type (Grade 1 or 2 under WHO 2019 guidelines) — this includes both tumors that affect hormone levels and those that do not, as well as people with a genetic condition called MEN1.
- People whose tumor measures between 2 and 3 cm and has a cell growth rate (Ki-67) below 5%.
- People whose tumor measures less than 2 cm with a cell growth rate below 10%, and where the tumor has been seen to grow or change during monitoring.
- People whose tumor measures between 1.5 and 2 cm with a cell growth rate below 10%, and who are under 60 years of age — whether or not the tumor has shown growth.
- People whose tumor is at least 2 mm away from the main pancreatic duct, or is closer than 2 mm but where a protective tube (stent) has been placed in the duct.
- People who are in reasonably good general health, as assessed by a standard medical scale (ECOG score of 0–2).
