Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are 18 years of age or older
- People being treated for colon cancer at the Montpellier Regional Cancer Institute, where surgery is not an option for either the main tumour or any spread of the cancer, whether currently receiving treatment or not
- People whose colon cancer requires medical treatment such as chemotherapy or targeted therapy
- People who have agreed to the study requirements, including providing blood samples as planned in the research
- People who are covered by a social protection (health insurance) system
- People who have signed an informed consent form agreeing to take part
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose colon cancer or cancer spread requires surgery as part of their treatment
- People whose cancer has spread only to the lining of the abdomen (peritoneal carcinomatosis), with no other sites involved
- People who require radiotherapy as part of their treatment
- People who, for psychological, family, social, or geographical reasons, may have difficulty understanding or following the study instructions and requirements
- Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People whose care is being provided in an emergency setting
