Who might be able to join this trial:
- People between 21 and 65 years old
- People who are able and willing to give their formal agreement to take part in the study

- People whose pre-surgery camera examination showed irritation or damage to the lining of the food pipe (erosive esophagitis)
- People whose pre-surgery camera examination showed a result other than Hill's grade III at the junction between the food pipe and stomach (specifically grade I, II, or IV)
