Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People aged 18 or older
  • People who have at least one fluid-filled sac (cyst) in the pancreas, measuring 5mm or larger, that has been identified by a scan (CT, MRI, or endoscopic ultrasound) as a possible IPMN or MCN (specific types of pancreatic cysts) — or people who are generally healthy with no such condition

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who are unable to give written consent to participate
  • People who have metal implants in their body or any other reason they cannot safely have an MRI scan
  • People who have health conditions that make it unsafe for them to undergo an endoscopy procedure
  • People who have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, or who have previously had surgery to remove part of the pancreas
  • People with high regular alcohol consumption — defined as more than 20g of alcohol per day (140g per week) for men, or more than 10g per day (70g per week) for women (confirm with trial site if unsure how this applies)
