Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are older than 18 years of age
- People who have signs and symptoms of severe cubital tunnel syndrome (a condition where the nerve at the elbow is compressed), classified as a specific advanced stage known as McGowan-Goldberg grade 3
- People whose nerve testing (using a needle to measure electrical activity in the muscles) shows signs of long-term nerve damage and reduced muscle activity in the small muscles of the hand controlled by the ulnar nerve (the nerve that runs along the inner elbow)
- People whose nerve electrical testing shows severe loss of working nerve fibres, measured by a specific test called motor unit number estimation (MUNE), with results falling significantly below the normal range
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have another nerve injury happening at the same time

- People who have another existing neurological (nervous system) condition
