Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 years or older.
- People who have been diagnosed with locally advanced pancreatic cancer (cancer that has grown into nearby blood vessels but has not spread to other parts of the body), confirmed by a pathology test.
- People whose cancer has not grown or spread (as measured by CT scan using standard medical guidelines) after receiving at least 4 months of chemotherapy treatment (either a combination called FOLFIRINOX, or a combination of gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel).
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose pancreatic cancer had already spread to other parts of the body before they started chemotherapy.
- People whose tumour wraps around certain major blood vessels by more than a certain amount, or has blocked or severely affected the main veins near the pancreas — based on a specific definition used by the Dutch Pancreatic Cancer Group (confirm with trial site for exact details).
