Who might be able to join this trial:

• People aged 19 to 80 years old
• People with a good general health and activity level, as measured by a standard medical scoring tool called the ECOG scale (score of 0 or 1), meaning they are fully active or have only minor limitations in physical activity
• People whose pancreatic cancer has been confirmed by a tissue or cell sample examination as pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (a specific type of pancreatic cancer)
• People whose cancer, based on pre-surgery scans, is considered fully removable by surgery — meaning the tumour is not touching certain major blood vessels (the celiac axis, superior mesenteric artery, or common hepatic artery), and is either not touching certain large veins (the superior mesenteric vein or portal vein) or touching them by no more than half their circumference without distorting the vein's shape
• People whose scans show no spread of cancer to distant parts of the body
• People whose bone marrow, liver, and kidney are functioning at adequate levels as measured by standard blood tests (confirm specific values with trial site)
• People who are physically well enough to undergo surgery
• People who have given their informed consent to participate in the trial
• Women who could become pregnant must have a negative pregnancy blood test within one week before starting the trial treatment, and both men and women who could become pregnant must use effective contraception from the start of the trial until six months after the last dose

Who may not be able to join:

• People whose cancer is assessed on pre-surgery scans as borderline removable or too advanced to remove, based on whether the tumour is invading major blood vessels
• People who have had previous surgery on the pancreas
• People who have previously received chemotherapy or radiation treatment for pancreatic cancer
• People whose cancer has already spread to distant parts of the body, or whose cancer has come back after previous treatment
• People with cancer in the body or tail of the pancreas that would require the surgical removal of nearby organs such as the stomach or kidney (removal of the adrenal gland is an exception)
• People diagnosed with another type of cancer within the past five years (exceptions may apply for certain treated skin cancers or early-stage cancers with no sign of active disease — confirm with trial site)
• Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding
• People with serious ongoing health conditions, including active infections, heart failure, unstable chest pain, significant heart rhythm problems, uncontrolled psychiatric conditions, or any other medical condition that the trial doctors determine could affect safety or the ability to participate fully in the trial
