Who may be able to join
- Adults between 18 and 70 years of age.
- People of any gender (male or female).
- People who have been diagnosed with Crohn's disease affecting the small bowel, with one or more narrowings (strictures) in the bowel confirmed by CT scan, MRI, or endoscopy, that are causing symptoms of blockage.

Who may not be able to join

- Adults who are under a legal guardianship, court protection, or trusteeship arrangement.
- People who are pregnant or currently breastfeeding.
- People experiencing a severe bowel blockage that requires urgent surgery.
- People where a tear or hole in the bowel (perforation) is suspected or confirmed.
- People who currently have an active infection in the area around the anus.
- People who have abnormal connections (fistulas) forming between internal organs in the same area as the bowel narrowings.
- People found to have narrowings or active disease in the large bowel (colon) at the time of their screening endoscopy.
- People for whom surgery, general anaesthetic, or certain medications (anti-TNF drugs or thiopurines) would not be medically safe.
- People who have used corticosteroids (such as prednisolone at a dose above 20 mg per day, or a similar medication at an equivalent dose) within the 4 weeks before the first trial visit.
- People who have received any biologic medication within the 8 weeks before the first trial visit.
- People who have a stoma (a surgically created opening on the abdomen for waste).
- People who have HIV, hepatitis C (HCV), or hepatitis B (HBV) infection.
