Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with one of the following cancers, confirmed by tissue testing: Synovial Sarcoma, Malignant Peripheral Nerve Sheath Tumour (MPNST), Neuroblastoma, or Osteosarcoma
- People within the following age ranges: 2 to 17 years old for Synovial Sarcoma; 2 to 21 years old for MPNST, Neuroblastoma, and Osteosarcoma
- People who weigh at least 10 kilograms
- People who have previously received chemotherapy treatment
- People whose cancer can be measured on scans before the treatment preparation phase begins
- People who have a specific immune system marker called HLA-A*02 (this is identified through a blood test)
- People whose tumour shows a protein called MAGE-A4, as confirmed by a central laboratory
- People who are in reasonably good general health, measured by standard performance scales appropriate for their age (confirm with trial site for details)
- People who are expected to live for more than 3 months, in the opinion of the treating doctor
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a specific variation of the HLA-A*02 marker called HLA-A*02:05, or a closely related variation with the same protein structure
- People who have had allergic reactions to medicines similar to fludarabine or cyclophosphamide (two drugs used in this trial)
- People with a history of autoimmune disease or other conditions where the immune system attacks the body
- People who have cancer that has spread to the brain or spinal cord
- People who have had another cancer that is not considered fully in remission by the treating doctor
- People with serious heart or blood vessel disease
- People with an active infection such as HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, or HTLV
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People whose cancer is progressing very rapidly in a way that the treating doctor believes makes treatment too risky
